Hello Beautiful Ray of Sunshine

I'm Carly Reed former University of North Carolina/professional lacrosse player turned ACE Certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.

My Journey

Have you ever had the UH OHs?!

For me, they usually hit when the weather gets warm on a random day mid-February,

“uh oh... I can no longer hide under my big sweaters?! It’s only February! I wasn’t ready for this" ..... Then it’s a crash diet, cleanse, and a new workout program or gym membership... But whenever it’s time to put on that bikini you still don’t feel good about it.

I used to want to “get skinny” as fast as possible when I got the "Uh Ohs"...

I would google things like “how to lose 10 pounds in 2 days”, which led me to an exhausting yo-yo lifestyle...

Workouts every day & eating to survive until I was happy with the number on the scale...

and when I went over that number, I would isolate myself...

What I hated most was that my confidence was so up and down...

and while I would like to say it was about being comfortable with my body's “natural weight”. It was actually about how I had no disciple and was driven by immediate results, which led to restrictions and if there’s a rule 9/10 times I’m going to break it...

I had to get real with myself, stop making excuses, and admit that I needed to be better. I had to dig deep to figure out why I still ate the foods I knew were going to make me feel bad about myself... why I couldn’t just “be normal” when it came to food.

One major key for me was practicing mindfulness and positive self-talk... which is why all of my programs incorporate mindfulness exercises.

My why is because I never, ever want anyone to feel the way I felt when I lived that way... I had no idea what I was capable of at the time and exploring that every day is incredibly empowering. There is power in the CHOICE to eat healthily.

Honestly, I never wanted to work in this industry because it wasn’t “my thing” or what I was naturally good at... But I firmly believe that FITNESS, WELLNESS, and YOUR HEALTH should be something you’re unapologetically passionate about.

It is OKAY to want to change your body! Life is too short to settle, don’t sell yourself short. You’re capable of change and you deserve to meet your BEST SELF.

My Approach

I take a holistic approach focusing on the mind, body, and soul.

As an athlete, I learned the importance of syncing fitness, nutrition, a mindful practice. As well as other lifestyle factors that affect mental, emotional, and physical health.

The body is ONE incredible machine and all of the parts work together to optimize performance.

I love getting stronger and faster in the gym, doing one more rep or running a little faster so that when game day came around, all I had to do was play. However, there were still days when I experienced brain fog, felt slow, and was exhausted... At the time, I had no idea how much food was affecting my body AND brain.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Hashimoto Thyroiditis. Which was when I really decided to dig deeper into nutrition and lifestyle

Increase your fitness, strength, confidence, and self-love whether you are a beginner or just ready for a new challenge.

Join me and the hundreds of women around the globe that are unleashing their power.

Finding and maintaining your balance and happiness is an ongoing journey. With the surplus of information, fitness fads, diet plans, and wellness product it is easy to get overwhelmed. It is also easy to decide that you think it is all BS and to continue living the lifestyle you are now. Trust me, I’ve been there.

My program takes a holistic approach diving into the mind, body, and spirit to help you decide what works for you and what doesn’t. If you are struggling, you’re not alone and we can do this! I want to help you live your best life! It is too short not to thrive.

You’re not alone.
