GRAB & GO LIKE A CEO​

Tom Brady, the only man that could get me in the kitchen... He had me cooking every night for 2 months... Now, I am by no means a “cooking gal,” and Caleb found this out the hard way.




I was trying the TB12 cookbook... I am sorry TB, love you but that shit is TERRIBLE. I would spend hours slaving a way to eat like THE GOAT and was eating food that tasted like it was for A LITERAL GOAT… YES, IT TASTED LIKE GRASS. So, my cooking days came to an end quickly.


Now, I am proud to say I do not cook. I AM A GRAB AND GO CEO!


Here is a look at how I survived Division I sports without cooking:


Breakfast:


  • Frozen Smoothie Mix + Spinach + Juice OR Water + Greek Yogurt + Banana + Peanut Butter ( Others prefer: Almond Butter or Protein Powder)

  • Granola + Nonfat Greek Yogurt + RAW Honey

  • Oatmeal + PB

  • Hard Boiled Egg + Spicy Salsa

  • Egg White Bites from Starbucks


Lunch:


  • Turkey Lettuce Wrap: Spinach/Lettuce, Mustard, Wrapped in Turkey (or Ham/Chicken)

  • Deli Meat ( Buffalo Chicken, Chipotle Chicken, Honey Ham, Turkey)

  • Veggie Sticks + RANCH — If you’re a college athlete, you can afford the Ranch Cals… Hustle at practice.

  • ONE YELLOW OR ORANGE PEPPER A DAY FOR VITAMIN A!

  • Nuts - Roasted or Wasabi Almonds

  • Turkey Pepperoni

  • Laughing Cow - Light Swiss

  • Rice Chips

* Rice Chips + Laughing Cow + Turkey Pepperoni = Great Snack.

  • Fruit: Watermelon, Mango, Pineapple, Raspberries, Blueberries, Apple + PB


Dinner:


  • Rotisserie Chicken + Spinach + Avocado + Famous Sauce + Salt & Pepper

  • Make this a salad or a sandwich - SO GOOD

  • Uncle Ben’s Microwave Rice

  • Frozen Broccoli + Green Beans — A lot of frozen Veggies

  • Cute Frozen Sweet potato

  • Canned Soup

  • Dr. Praeger's Sweet Potato Dinosaurs or Kale & Broccoli - Don't forget Ketchup.

  • Anything from the Lunch Menu

Dessert: THE HARD PART.


I have the biggest sweet tooth of all time. So, when it comes to eating healthy, I always plan for failure when I’m grocery shopping… A lot of people say "If you don't buy it you can't eat it"... Well, in a college town when insomnia cookies can just magically appear at your doorstep until till 3 am… If I don’t plan for my moments of weakness, I will fully indulge in every flavor cookie and ice cream they have available that day.

Okay, here is what you should eat instead:


  • A handful of Chocolate Chips... I get milk chocolate but if you want to be healthy about it - get dark chocolate.

  • Halo or Yasso ( my new favorite ). I allow myself 2 BIG spoonfuls as (I much as I can get on the spoon).

  • Dried Mango Or Fruit

  • 2 Spoonfuls of Peanut Butter with Honey

  • Popcorn

  • A BIG spoonful of Cookie Butter — WARNING: this is a slippery slope
