It is SO important to develop sustainable eating patterns rather than having a chaotic, extreme view of your food choices. I have recently been on the lookout for yummy, healthy, gluten-free snacks to help me get through my sweet tooth cravings without feeling like I have ruined all my hard work and upsetting my stomach (will go in depth about Celiac in another post ). I know I could just bake some healthy alternatives myself but sometimes it is just so much easier to grab-and-go and I also think things taste better when I don't make them.
Base Culture sent me a package of products to try for a promo post but I am seriously obsessed. First, the company is women owned (badass) and although the products still are high in sugar (the good kind), I don't feel shitty after I eat them and that is HUGE. Above all, Base Culture is " Keeping ingredient list clean and free of any preservatives is key. You need healthier options and we're here to give them to you... with loads of flavor! You can pronounce everything you see listed on the labels and you'll never question what it is you actually just ate. We leave you feeling confident that you're snacking the healthy way."
If you are gluten-free, paleo, or just looking for a healthier alternative for your sweet tooth, you need to give them a try.
My Favorites are the Cashew Butter Blondie, Banana Bread, Pumpkin Bread, and the 7 Nut & Seed Bread (for my gluten-free avocado toast).
I AM SO HAPPY that Base Culture came into my life and is helping me stick to my Gluten-Free diet and given me healthier alternative for my chronic sweet tooth problem! I KNOW, this sounds like such an Ad but I am being serious -- I was not paid to write a blog about it.
