A major key to getting a lean and toned physique

A MAJOR KEY to getting a leaned, toned, athletic look is to do full body workouts. Understand your body is ONE web of muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia— not individual parts stuck together. “Target Toning” is a very flawed approach. I fell for the longest time. I would do abs abs abs but NEVER GET ABS. It was extremely discouraging. It wasn’t until I learned that full body workouts and engaging your core is the secret to success.

To lose body fat, you need to burn more calories than you consume. - This is simply a law of nature

When it comes to food. KEEP IT SIMPLE! The solution is to focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods that fill you up. The fewer ingredients a food has, the better (which is why I love Larabar). If you read my Food For Thought post, I like to categories food as healthy, not healthy, and unhealthy. That is because eating whole foods is too simple and straightforward to be made into a fad diet, but that’s why it works so well!
