Nuts and seeds are hard for the body to digest. If you soak them in water they become easier to digest and allow the nutrients to be broken down and absorbed! Making them more useful for your body!
You can do the soaking yourself or you can buy them pre-soaked, a popular brand is Living Intentions (left). They have different YUMMY flava flavaaaas!
If you are looking for something more raw, I would try Moon Juice I just bought some!
HOW TO SOAK:
1. Place nuts/seeds in a bowl and fill with water
2. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of your favorite sea salt
3. Cover and let sit overnight (about 8 hours)
4. Drain and rinse.
5. Dry nuts in oven at a low temperature until slightly cripsy.Or you can use a dehydrator if you have one.
